Its a know fact that Deepika Padukone plays 2 characters in the Movie Chandni Chowk to China. She plays Miss TMZ Sakhi and her twin sister raised in China is called Meow Meow. But little did we know that Deepika Padukone intended to take her onscreen twin characters offscreen to the premier of her movie Chandni Chowk to China (CC2C) in Los Angeles and New York. Notice the similarity in the color scheme of the two outfits worn only a day apart. Now we’re guessing Deepika intends to become the next Simi Garewal with her dressing sense.
Well Deepika our fashion advice : The only acceptable colors to be repeated at any event in a span of 1 week is black and white. We mean it.

The hype surrounding Chandni Chowk to China wasn’t reason enough for the movie to do well. We hear the movie didn’t quite do well at either Los Angeles, New York or Canada and there were people who left the theatre even before the first half of the movie but what caught out attention is this fashion disaster. Akshay Kumar wearing sun glasses to the New York Premier of Chandni Chowk to China. It’s winter in New York. The weather ranges from 3°C to -7°C so there is no sunlight whatsoever. Plus the premier was in the evening so that left us wondering what exactly was Akshay blocking? Plus the sun glasses were quite a horrible pair. Quite ‘Shady’ ain’t it? Maybe he thinks he has a ‘bright’ future. Without the sun glasses though (which he thankfully took out on the red carpet) Akshay looked quite the thing!!
Former Miss Universe Lara Dutta is all set to look ravishing in the filmBlue, thanks to Hollywood make-up artist Nikoletta Skarlatos.
Nikoletta, who has given Hollywood actress Keira Knightley the much appreciated look in Pirates of the Caribbean, worked on Lara’s make up and hair especially for the under water sequences and other special effects action scenes in the film. She was assisted by Clarabelle Saldhana.
“Nikoletta Skarlatos was highly recommended by the international action team as a make-up artist who could give the character a glamorous look in action scenes. Skarlatos and Saldhana have put the whole look together for make-up and hair. They have done an amazing job and I am extremely thrilled with the results,” said Lara.
Lara is cast opposite Akshay Kumar in Blue. She plays a diver and has several underwater scenes in the film.
“‘Blue’ has been a lifetime experience for me as I have done every possible under water stunt for the film. I am happy I could do it properly,” Lara said.
The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Katrina Kaif. It is being directed by ad filmmaker Anthony D’ Souza and produced by Shree Ashtavinayak.
Madhur Bhandarkar’s much hyped Fashion based on the glamorous fashion world is all set to have a grand premiere in Dubai.
Madhur will take the entire cast of the film to Dubai for the grand event.
Said an excited Madhur, “We are having a premiere in Dubai as it is Diwali time in India. People will be busy with the celebrations here.”
This is not the first time that Madhur is taking his film to Dubai. Even when Corporate was about to release, Bipasha Basu was promoting it on the finals of the Zee Tv show Sa Re Ga Ma in Dubai.
The last film to premiere in Dubai was Kidnap. Fashion will be released in as many as 630 screens in India and 120 screens across the world.
